Marina Chahboune to become the latest GCFF Steering Committee Member

Our founder, Marina Chahboune has been appointed to the Global Circular Fashion Forum (GCFF) Steering Committee, spearheaded by the Global Fashion Agenda (GFA). The GCFF focuses on boosting local recycling efforts in textile-producing nations. With more than a decade of industry experience, this appointment is a great honor, highlighting our ongoing dedication to sustainability and innovation in the textile industry.

We are very proud to announce Marina Chahboune’s new role as a member of the Global Circular Fashion Forum (GCFF) Steering Committee. The GCFF, an initiative of Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), aims to drive local initiatives in textile-producing countries to expedite and expand the recycling of post-industrial textile waste. For Marina and the entire Closed Loop Fashion team, this appointment is a true honor, reflecting our continued commitment to sustainability and innovation in the textile sector.

With over a decade of dedicated experience, Marina Chahboune is recognized for her role in catalyzing constructive advancements within the industry. As the Founder of Closed Loop Fashion, she has spearheaded important initiatives aimed at fostering a circular economy and reducing environmental impact.

Joining forces with other esteemed members of the GCFF Steering Committee, Marina is excited to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of recycling efforts for post-industrial textile waste worldwide. This appointment not only recognizes Marina’s expertise and leadership but also underscores the importance of Closed Loop Fashion’s mission in advancing textile waste management practices, the establishment of recycling ecosystems and circular supply chains  within the fashion industry.

Together with representatives from renowned organizations such as H&M Foundation, RECYCLE-RAW, RECOVER, Fashion for Good, H&M Group, Reverse Resources (RR), The Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA), Circle Economy, GIZ Fabric and Crystal Group, Marina and Closed Loop Fashion are honored to contribute to this collaborative effort towards a more circular and responsible future for fashion.
